Answers for scores:

14 – 20

You understand how to be romantic and make special gestures, whether they are big ones, something meaningful to you as a couple or just good fun. Your partner is a lucky woman or man. If it’s early days in your relationship then enjoy every second of the romantic whirl. The medals go to the partners who keep up the romance after fifteen years of marriage!

7- 13

You make romantic gestures and your partner probably really appreciates these. This is great! Romance is about wooing your partner and actively showing you care. Being romantic doesn’t mean having to follow a formula, giving big presents and, or making extravagant gestures. It’s about putting your partner’s needs and likes above what you want and regularly doing something to show they are the most special person in the world. If you want to move up the romance scale then make it your mission to study your partner to find out what really speaks romance to him or her.

0 – 6

There may be a bit of the bah-humbug’ about you concerning all things romance! Or perhaps you don’t think about your partner’s love needs. Everyone needs love and without it a relationship gradually withers away. Romance is a way of showing that you want to keep the spark in your relationship alive. Being romantic doesn’t have to be about expensive or grand gestures. Making phone calls to say I love you’ shows that you are thinking about your other half and care. The key is to do something your partner would really like and make them feel valued.
